Technical Director & Advisor
Leigh Duxson provides technical advice on all residential energy issues. He provides presentations to business and community groups in the ACT on energy saving at home and in the office and advises clients on energy efficiency design of new houses and extensions.
Leigh's expertise comes from his training as an Electrical Engineer and nearly 30 years of experience as a professional engineer in establishments such as Parliament House, Royal Australian Mint and the Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control Centre.
His experience ranges from multimillion dollar construction and maintenance projects, management and development of technical document systems and management of system reengineering projects.
Leigh's interest and knowledge of energy conservation was developed when he researched, designed and arranged for the construction of his EER 6 house in 2004. The success of this project was recognised when he won the ACT Master Builder's Association award for energy efficient residential design.
He has since been extending his knowledge into all aspects of active and passive solar systems and new building projects.
