SustainAbility Advice Team is the new name for a well established business, specialising in saving you money and providing advice to households and business about energy and water efficiency, renewable energy and ways to reduce greenhouse emissions. Our head office is located in Canberra where the founders of SustainAbility have been consulting on sustainable energy and building systems, and greenhouse emissions inventories, since 1991, originally as Energy and Economic Analysis Pty Ltd and Energy Partners, then as Energy Strategies Pty Ltd since 1996. Our focus is on achieving practical outcomes at least cost. Our advice is always based on the particular requirements of each client. We do not believe that one size fits all. Most importantly, we are completely independent of all manufacturers and suppliers of energy efficiency, renewable energy and water efficiency equipment and materials. SustainAbility is about knowing what to do and how to do it - and then doing it. Our team have completed thousands of detailed energy audits. These audits involve inspection and assessment of all aspects of energy use including: climate zone, aspect, thermal performance, lighting, heating and cooling systems, water heating technology, appliance and other energy using systems. We do not show up just to change your light bulbs! We will leave you with a detailed plan of what you can do to reduce your energy bills, reduce your water use, and improve the comfort of your home. More than just suggestions about spending money on new, more energy efficient appliances and equipment, our advice will also include suggestions on what you can do, at zero financial cost, to reduce energy consumption, and reduce what you have to spend on electricity and gas. Every house and every household is different, and all members of our team have the training and experience that enables them to give advice tailored to your particular circumstances. We will also advise you on which rebates and subsidies are available to assist with the cost of making energy saving improvements to your home. We provide the same type of expert advice to small and medium businesses who want to know about simple low cost options for reducing their energy consumption and costs. An increasing number of businesses also recognise the marketing benefits of being seen to genuinely exercise social and environmental responsibility and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. Under our GreenWorks program we offer to undertake an energy and water audit of your business, give you advice on the most cost effective ways to reduce your consumption, and calculate and track your greenhouse gas emissions profile. We have a team of trained, experienced and practically skilful auditors available to give you detailed, comprehensive and targeted advice that will save you money and reduce greenhouse gas emissions and cut water and energy waste. |
