'Sustaining our Towns’ is a 2 year project designed to assist communities to reduce their ecological footprint. This covers residential dwellings across communities in thirteen Council areas in South Eastern NSW. The project is coordinated by SERRROC in partnership with Clean Energy for Eternity, the Southern Rivers Catchment Management Authority and the thirteen SERRROC Councils.
This project has been funded by the NSW Government, through its Environmental Trust. The SERRROC Project Region covers the following council areas:

- Cooma-Monaro Shire Council
- Eurobodalla Shire Council
- Goulburn-Mulwaree Shire Council

- Give you a personalised Sustainability Review recommending how you can reduce your water, energy and waste usage.
- Advise what rebates are available.
Workshops
Sustaining our Towns is also offering Sustainability Workshops, advice and support to help home owners across South Eastern NSW transform their backyards into sustainable gardens. This includes actions you can take to:
- Remove environmental weeds.
- Plant suitable native and low water species.
- Provide more habitat for native animal species.
- Grow more food at home.
SOT Sustainability Home & Garden Advisors live and work in our region and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in sustainability practices, so when it comes to implementing sustainability we know our stuff and know how sustainability can work best in our region.
